"Guidelines for Dealing with Confidential Information” Video Now Available from WeComply
June 11, 2012 (Mount Kisco, N.Y.) -- WeComply, Inc., a leader in online ethics and compliance training for employees, has released an animated video entitled “Guidelines for Dealing with Confidential Information.” The video is intended to raise employee awareness about the importance of handling confidential information appropriately.
This short video provides a simple and engaging presentation of several guidelines employees must follow when working with confidential information. Employees are instructed to safeguard access credentials, such as usernames and passwords, and protect mobile devices. They are directed not to leave computer screens displaying confidential information unattended. Employees are also told to follow company policies when transmitting confidential information and when retaining and/or destroying such information. In addition employees are advised to report any security incidents or privacy breaches immediately.
